Lorenzo was born in Fano (Puglia) on November 9th 2002, where he lives with his father, mother and elder sister. Lorenzo was born without a tibia: for this reason, on February 14th 2006, at the age of 4, his left limb was amputated on the advice of his orthopaedist.
It was a feeling of shock and despair for the whole family, but despite the tragic episode Lorenzo carried on, proving to be a child with a strong and unique character.
Lorenzo approached the world of sport for the first time on 2014.
His favourite sports are swimming and especially football. Lorenzo has always had a big goal in his heart: to play in a football team to win and score lots of goals. Since 2015 he has also been practicing athletics.
The athlete he admires most is Alessandro Del Piero, whom Lorenzo considers a great champion.
Lorenzo is now part of the art4sport team: thanks to the support and help of the art4sport ONLUS Association he will finally be able to achieve his goals. Lorenzo can’t wait to try new experiences, always with great desire and enthusiasm!
